Business thinking and all that

I know starting your own business is not easy. For the past few days however, it's all I can think about. I want to be my own boss. I want to create my own time. I've got abilities to share and make money out of.

Mind you, I am thinking of an online business. One that I can run as long as my laptop is with me. I want to talk to clients, be able to choose the ones I like and keep them happy...kind of.

I want to create a writing studio. Just haven't decided what type of writing it ought to be.

Since right now my concern is finances, I want to go and help people save and make the most of their money. The question is, if I'm helping them, how can that help me money-wise?

I want to help people plan their vacations. Especially those who don't have enough money to spend. Planning our upcoming vacation, I received an e-mail from a travel agent who, because I told her we were budget travelers, said she couldn't help us yet told me to contact her in the future, "who knows, you might not always be budget travelers."

The thing is, we are budget travelers. If there are others out there who belong to my age group, works in a 9-to-5 job, and simply wants to go on vacation or see something new, don't we have the right to do so? We might skimp and save on most things, but I think travel is not just for the Britneys, Lindseys and Parises of the world.

The question now is, where and what do I begin?
