My dad was finally transferred to Beth Israel, where they performed numerous tests.

Regretfully, the complicated quad bypass surgery is not the only procedure my dad will undergo. He will also have an aortic valve repair/replacement (depends on his valve's condition). They are checking his carotids for blockages to prevent a stroke, with an additional MRI scheduled later (on top of the other tests already done). If they don't see any blockages (which is what we're praying for), his bypass and aortic procedure will happen later today, Thursday; otherwise, Friday.

It has been a trying and tiring time for the entire family. Thankfully, my dad is keeping his optimism and good humor intact, which makes us positive that he will stay on top of this.

Those are the updates for now.
