Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area (14 July 2007)

We headed to the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area for some biking last Saturday.

I thought it best to share some of the sights we saw.

Of course, what's a bike trip without a nice cup of ice cream? We just had to try the ice cream from Kelly's "Homemade" Ice Cream (yeah, there were quotes in their actual road sign). My husband had Dusty Road sundae (left), while I had Rocky Road (right).

Some great views you got there. We can't find any beautiful scene like that in Singapore, all over it's buildings and more buildings, and that's not fun at all.

By the way can you tell me which states that is?? I know nothing much about the places over there.

One of the reasons we moved out of NYC was because you only see endless buildings. So I know what you mean.

Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area is actually bordered by 3 states - New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We went to the NY/PA side. We're on the East Coast, by the way.

We actually ended up with 100+ pictures. By the way, you should also check out my blog entry when we went to Shenandoah National Park last May. More pictures of nature. :)

Lene,

I haven't had Rocky Road in ages, so when I saw it on the menu board, of course I HAD to order it.
