Out of nowhere...BAM!

Who would've thought a simple trip to Target would result in a car accident?

Surely not us.

It happened quickly. We stopped at a stop sign, saw it was clear, drove on and then got rammed by an oncoming speeding small truck from nowhere. I actually saw it hit us. BAM!

Thankfully, no one was hurt. The damage seems fixable. Had my husband not braked at the right time, Zack and I would've been hit. NOT a particularly pleasant thought. I shudder thinking about the what-ifs. Still, I'm focusing on the fact that we are all ok. Shaken, stirred, but otherwise physically ok. Thank goodness.

After an exchange of insurance information plus a police report, we all went our ways. Hopefully, the repairs will be easy and cheap. *sighs* I see it as a blessing in disguise in more ways than one.

My sister Lani ended up feeding us dinner. Her quick thinking guided us at a time when we were still reeling from what happened, too stunned to think straight. Thank goodness for sisters.

wow what a close encounter. When I had an accident last year, it's happened so fast that I don't even have time to react. But luckily no one is seriously injured for my accident.

Do take care, and I hope you don't have any phobia on this at all. :)

Thank goodness you're all ok.

After what happened to my brother, I've been very jumpy with any news related to car accidents.

Ingat lagi!

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, it was scary. Now I can't even nap during car rides. Tsk tsk. But as I said, it was a blessing in disguise.

Buti na lang wala nasaktan sa inyo. I was gone for a while, I never thought I'd end up reading this.

Accidents are accidents, let's make prayers and more carefulness be the shield from incident such as this.

God be with you always! :) Now that's one thing MORE to be thankful for this Christmas..
