Firefighter? Me?

The time it takes for me to sort out what needs to be done on a daily basis really eats up a good chunk of my time. One of the higher-ups phrased it correctly and accurately: I'm in-charge of putting out "fires" in the workplace.

Of course, everything that comes my way needs to be done (for the most part). Rarely do I have something that I can delegate.

Needless to say, I never imagined nor wanted to be the office "firefighter". It would be more fun if I was a different type of "firefighter" - in the agitator, instigator, rabble-rouser sort of way perhaps.
