Election Day 2008

Today's the day. All eyes are on America.

To those who are voting today, remember that the person you'll vote for should be there for the long haul. The U.S. economy is in dire straits. Whoever wins can make a difference - he can push us down into an even bigger quagmire of financial indebtedness, or he can pull us out of this mess. I'm crossing my fingers, hoping, praying and wishing that it'll be the latter.

Don't waste your right to vote. Please. Go out there. If not for yourself, then for your kids' and grandkids' sake. Vote wisely. Don't let fear, cynicism or disappointment get in the way of your good judgment. You know better. Give the right person the chance to improve things.

Make a difference. Cast your vote today!

Frankly speaking, it's a shame that I'm so much more interested and exposed in recent US politics, and I don't even care much about my own country's.

Whatever it is, I already know who to vote and I know that will be the right choice after the past eight years. It's time to CHANGE.
