About the hefty $165M AIG bonuses

Hearing about the $165 million bonuses for AIG's top management irritates me no end. I am appalled and outraged (more outraged last night than today). It's like they're testing the new administration's patience with them...trying to find out what they can get away with and how far they can push everyone's buttons - the administration's and the people's.

Here's a link to "Stop AIG Bonuses" from the ConnPIRG site: http://www.ConnPIRG.org/action/financial-privacy/stop-aig-bonuses?id4=ES.

AIG should be fined, at least. They should be accountable for such a gross misuse of the taxpayer bailout money. I ask myself, "what on earth are they thinking?" but realized that you know what, I don't care what they think. Because obviously, they don't care what WE think. They'll do what they want to do, damn everyone else.
