Birthday food-fest: Guess who fell off the no-meat wagon?

Today was eat-properly-otherwise-you'll-burn-in-hell-for-gluttony day. Why so, you may ask?

Here's a rundown of the things that went into my stomach starting Thursday, the 20th:
  • chocolate cake (made with real butter! or so the cake box says) - don't know where it's from. Hubby got it for me.
  • vegetable lo mein from Bethel Chinese Kitchen in Bethel, CT
  • hot lobster roll from Denmo's in Southbury, CT
  • clam strips with french fries, tartar sauce and coleslaw from Denmo's in Southbury, CT
  • steamed 2 1/2 lb. lobster shared with my husband coupled with coleslaw, potato chips, and drawn butter from Abbott's Lobster in the Rough in Noank, CT
  • whole belly clams dinner with French fries, coleslaw and lemon from Sea Swirl in Mystic, CT
The rest of the food below came from Fatty Crab in Manhattan's West Village.
  • Fatty Tea Sandwiches (with pork belly and sambal aioli),
  • Watermelon Pickle and Crispy Pork salad,
  • Chili Crab (crab, chili sauce, white toast),
  • Short Rib Rendang (braised with kaffir lime, coconut, chili), and
  • Kang Kong Belacan.
Dessert came from ChikaLicious. I had Seared Pluot on Vanilla Anglaise with Basil Sorbet (Moscatel De Lustau Emilin). I also tried the following desserts: Warm Chocolate Tart with Pink Peppercorn Ice Cream and Red Wine Sauce; Cranshaw Melon and White Chocolate Mousse on Crispy Kataifi with Jasmine Sorbet (Brachetto d'Acqui Banfi 2007); and Grapes in Moscato on Corn Flan with Cornmeal Tuile and Limeade Sorbet (Moscato d'Asti, La Spinetta 2007).

Yes, this post is both a report and a confession.

When does being a foodie ends and a glutton begins?
