Dad in the hospital

So what's going on? My dad's in the hospital. He was admitted last week for an angiogram and subsequent angioplasty, but it turns out that his renal artery was blocked. While his physicians were deliberating on the next steps, he had congestive heart failure. Now he's having cardiac asthma. So now there's some kind of sick waiting game going on. The doctors can't take care of his heart yet, but it needs to be taken care of. *sighs* Just a quick flashback: he underwent post-quad bypass surgery back in October 2006. He was also supposed to have the aortic valve repair/replacement done then, but they decided against it at the last minute (his heart couldn't handle it). That procedure was supposed to be done this time around as well.

I would like to ask for your prayers. If you can just include him in your daily prayers, even as a postscript to your prayers (whatever works), then much love, hugs and thanks goes out to you from me and my family. I'm a big believer in prayers. I'm sure you are too.

To those who know about what happened last year, all I can say is I remain to be his daughter. I don't want to be the type of person who doesn't realize the real value of something or someone, until I lose it. I don't want to wait that long. There is only now.

sorry to hear about your dad. it will go the way it should God is great at that part it's just our willingness to trust Him that fails us.
may peace be with you as prayiers raise for God's will to be.
