It pleases me

There's this lady I met at the gym in her mid-40s, who started going to the gym this year, probably 2 or 3 months ago. She's nice and friendly. She usually strikes up a conversation when we're on the treadmill or the elliptical with her doing most of the talking while I huff and puff away. The first time she used the elliptical, she was ready to give up after 3 minutes of being on the machine. I kept telling, "you can do it! You go, girl!" She lasted 10 minutes. Not bad considering she wanted to stop at 3 minutes.

Last night, I saw her again at the gym. She was on the elliptical for 30 minutes! What's more, she lost 7 lbs. already! She told me that she looks for me when she goes to the gym. I confess, hubby and I have been erratic with going to the gym lately. So I turned out to be her motivator. Knowing that I motivated someone to exercise cheered me up immensely. Now I better go and motivate myself to exercise some more...
