We went to the midnight screening. Got to the movie house at 10pm. We were seated before 11pm. For some bizarre reason, we were plucked out from the line, told to go ahead and pass the others, and find our seats. Did I question the whole thing? Of course not. Some things, you just go along with. No questions asked. We smiled and said thanks.
Days and weeks before, I re-read the seventh book and watched all six movies. I'm happy to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the newest movie. If this is like school, these kids are graduating with honors (especially Rupert Grint, who I always thought was always held back in proving his acting prowess). Even Emma Watson who seems adept at what I call eyebrow acting is waaaaaay better in this movie. As for Daniel Radcliffe, well, I've seen him in "Equus", so yes, I know the boy can act. No surprises there.
Ralph Fiennes is his usual creepy self. You gotta love him.
Now I can't wait to watch the movie again.
