Say "yay!"

Many self-help books advise adopting an "attitude of gratitude". Here's my take on that for this day.

Yay #1: Our new storm door was finally installed this afternoon!

Yay #2: I thought I'd be late for work, but ended up sitting at my desk three minutes before 9am. Not bad! I even had a nice parking spot. Woo hoo!

Yay #3: Airline miles expired today. I took a chance and sent them an e-mail asking if they can reinstate it for a bit of time since I really want to use them. They gave me till tomorrow to use it.

Yay #4: Tonight, I used the reinstated miles to book a flight (just mine though). Guess what? My return ticket - first class! Oh yeah!

Yay #5: Hubby had to buy his own ticket, but his tickets were waaay cheaper than expected. And we're on the same flights (although we're not seated together on the way back). And he gets to earn miles.

Yay #6: OMG. After endless searching for flight, we're booked. What joy!

Yay #7: We're going on a much-needed vacation. FINALLY.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this day. :)

Thanks, folks!

There's always something to "yay!" about. It's up to us to remind ourselves. :D
