As part of the recent beautification project of our guest room, I had to figure out what to do with the spare daybed. My in-laws weren't going to use it, but I didn't want it to just look bleah. I had this brilliant idea of taking my toys out of the closet (trust me, I really felt brilliant about it...ha ha), and displaying them in the spare daybed. Mind you, these are stuffed animals I collected since I was a teenager. They've been in boxes, not seeing the light of day.

Zack watched me curiously while I was putting the toys on the bed. If a particular toy caught his eye, he'd move towards the toy to sniff it then continue watching. He didn't really do anything to make us suspect he'll play with them, but I admit, we were concerned that we'll find him hanging out on top of the daybed while playing with the toys. He LOVES toys and most of the time, he assumes most toys are his.

Unfounded fears, as it turns out. Lately though, when we'd play "find", he'd immediately go to the guest room, look up at the bed and look at me as if to say, "yep, the toys are there!" with his tail wagging. Surprisingly, he only goes to the guest room when I go inside. I experimented by leaving the guest room door ajar, just to see what he'll do. He stayed outside and just looked in.

He just cracks me up big time.
